Another heavy duty Rice Dream user [Original Enriched] checking in. Tastier than soy, works fairly well in baking and white sauces. We buy it by the case. We have a toddler who has some ill-defined milk allergies and it’s just simpler to keep milk out of the house than maintain multiple pitchers…
I used to be lactose intolerant…horrible nausea, diarrhea and cramps. I used Lactaid chewables for awhile and I was fine.
One day, I HAD to have milk with my chocolate filled oreos, but no Lactaid. Took the risk, never had a problem. Now I can drink as much as I want and not have a problem.
Edamame is a staple at most sushi restaurants. I recently discovered frozen edamame at my local grocery store. Cheap, quick to make and SO tasty.
