This thread was inspired by my trip to see Spider-man last night. I have few pet peeves, but both these happened to me last night and it pissed me off.

  1. The jicky-jacks who blatantly double park their trucks in parking lots. You know, the slapnuts with the Dodge-Ram or other diesel powered beast with the picture of Calvin (from Calvin and Hobbes) taking a leak on the Ford/Chevy emblem. I am so sick of these guys. Heaven forbid it gets scratched. TAKE ONE SPACE YOU JERK!

  2. Commercials before the movie. Didn’t I just pay 8 bucks? So now I’m paying to see commercials? This urks me to no end. I used to get annoyed by the popcorn playing drums and Raisenettes playing guitar. I would give anything to get them back.

People who qualify a hyperbolic statement with the word “literally.”

as in: “This box of CDs weighs a ton, literally.”

Uh… no! If it weighed a ton, you wouldn’t be carrying it out to the truck yourself. Duh!
