Dolly likes “1-900” sex chat commercials. She really likes the way the women coo at her.
She also likes programs with sheep.
She is indifferent to most other television, unless there’s an excited dog on the screen.
India likes the same programs our son JP likes. This is mainly due to the fact that JP is there, and she enjoys sitting on or near him. Of those shows she seems to be most interested in How It’s Made…all the mechanical movement must be the reason.
Louie doesn’t like TV because it takes away from nap time. I’ve seen him glaring at the TV before putting his head back down.
My mother’s dog always starts to howl about 1/3 of the way through the MASH theme song. Something about that music gets her going.
And of course, since Mom thinks it’s funny, and shows it to everybody who is there, and they all make a fuss over the dog, it’s completely reinforced now – she always does it, and expects to get petted afterwards.
