I haven’t seen a lot of the movies mentioned so far, and for the LOTR and Harry Potter movies in particular I feel that too much of my enjoyment of them was in seeing something I was already well familiar and in love with painted on the big screen to compare them with movies that I truly saw fresh and new.

I just saw it for the first time a few days ago but I think “The Visitor” was one of the best movies I have watched for the last couple of years.
(I mention it because I didnt see it on any of the lists above)
