Much of the cast in Magnolia singing their parts in Aimee Mann’s Wise Up. One of the more unique needle drops, to be sure. When I first viewed it at the time it was released I thought it was a slightly unweildy conceit, but on repeated viewings of it and the film over the years I’ve come to have a more favourable view of it.
But don’t get me started on the frog drop, though.
