Your top 5 movies of 2002

I’m not sure I’ve seen five movies this year. The best one I did see was probably ‘The Royal Tenenbaums’ (which I saw in January). I know I saw ‘Spider-Man’ and ‘Attack of the Clones’ as well, and ‘Panic Room’. I’m sure I saw something else, but I can’t remember what it might have been.

Oh, I saw ‘The Time Machine’, but it sucked. So I guess I did see five movies this year, but Tenenbaums was probably the only one worth including on any kind of list.

Oooh…I forgot about Minority Report That definitely is in my top 5, so you can bump K-19 off my list and put Minority Report in there somewhere…probably at #4.

Jman

  1. Punch Drunk Love
  2. Epi 2 Attack of the Clones
  3. Spiderman
  4. Is going to be Two Towers
    5…Igby Goes Down (I guess.)

This made me realize how few movies I saw this year that I REALLY liked. But the ones I liked I really REALLY liked.

  1. Lilo & Stitch
  2. Minority Report
  3. Punch Drunk Love… made absolutely no sense, but I loved it
  4. Bourne Identity
  5. reserved for Nemesis

Nice to see others put it on their list. It’s an amazing movie, and god, I used to HATE Adam Sandler! I only went because of Paul Thomas Anderson, who is a god. I loved it.

Oooh yeah, I love John C. Reilly. That sidekick would be Tim Blake Nelson, who as an actor was unforgettable as Delmar in O Brother, Where Art Thou?, and as a director, helmed the critically acclaimed O and The Grey Zone.

Nah, it makes perfect sense, within the world that PT Anderson creates.
