I have heard some good things about Yourmechanic, so I tried to fill out the form on their website for the service on my car that I needed. It said “We can’t service your car at this time, please call us” after I finished. I called them, and was on hold for over an hour. Only to find out that they do not offer service in my town. They couldn’t even tell me where the nearest place they offered service was. When I asked, they said they could only check by ZIP codes, and have no way of checking by distance. Really? Ever heard of a map?
Just out of curiosity, what made you think they did offer service in your area?
I’m my own mechanic, and Yes, I am pretty fucking useless.
But I’m fun to drink with.
So, I had a radiator hose leaking, so I plugged it, then the temperature gauge went crazy, so I took the car to the shop. The mechanic there said all my valves were burnt and asked how the hoses got plugged …
