I’ve had YouTube setup on my Vizo tv for a couple years.
It started asking me (last night) Who’s Watching with my account profile and one I don’t recognize.
Have I been hacked?
I am temporarily in a Rehab getting PT. Moved my tv up here. They don’t provide them. Would sharing the rehab network be a factor? Maybe another patient uses Youtube? But the google accounts would be different.
I checked my Google Security and don’t see any unknown devices connected. Just the phone and tablet I own.
I recently got a new smart tv, and YT does that to me too.
I don’t know why it does that, but i don’t think it’s been hacked. Never happens on
my laptop.
I was able to delete the Youtube profile.
Under the big circle there is an option button. That let me delete that unknown profile.
My Google got hacked in June. I’ve changed passwords three times since. Checking under Google security that no one is attached to my account.
There wasn’t any devices last night or today.
I’ll try that !
(I don’t use YT on the TV very often…)
I gave the nurse the name. She checked with the office and it was another patient.
I feel relieved it wasn’t some hacker in another state or country. Because the youtube login comes from the Google account.
