The “Yuuzhan Vong,” of course, being the technophobic empire from the extended “Star Wars” universe.
This one outta be good for a coupla laughs, at least.

Ranchoth, you are one crazy cat.
For starters, the Vong would osee such a thing as the ultimate heresy. Worse than making machines like living beings (droids), this is making living beings into machines.
They would turn their full attention to wiping such a thing out, jedai or no jedai. The question would be if their shapers can create something to slow or halt the virus before it consumes everything - it moves damn fast after all.
Fortunately, the Vong are advantaged in being spread across most of a galaxy, so the virus won’t have immediate contact with the Vong as a whole. Since the holonet is not exactly “landline,” the virus can’t move from world to world that way, so it would have to go on ships, which the Vong would have no trouble destroying.
For those reasons, I say the Vong win. It may not be easy for them, and they lose a lot, but I think they’ll pull it out in the long run.
[Damn does this make me look like a geek.]
