Zoidberg's accent

“I’ve been making fine jewelry for years, apparently.”

Funny, I’ve just always thought of Zoidberg as a response to Jackie Mason’s Aardvark character from the old Pink Panther cartoon. I’m not hip to this George Jessel.

I can’t remember the name, but in the commentary track on Futurama Season 1 DVD, they do say it was based on a particular actor who always was selling things in old time commercials.

I can’t believe “Smell Ya Later” actually replaced “Goodbye”…what?

Again with the criticisms. Can my life get any worse.;j

“Scalpel(sp?)…
Blood Bucket…
Priest… Next!”

You stupid lobster! smack

I think that’s right. Characters doing 3 Stooges references is one of Billy West’s ‘things,’ I think.

I love Zoidberg. He’s my favorite character. The combination of his earnest desire to be liked and his complete repulsiveness in all respects just never stops amusing the hell out of me.

Linguistically, I love Amy’s “Snuh-UH!” and “Snuh-HUH!” Sounds just like what you’d think the snotty teenagers of the future would say.

Guh?

Oh, come on, you only like Amy because she’s from Mars!

Amy is hot.

and its, Guh!

Amy is damn hot, and judging from the episodes, she seems to put out fairly well, too. I think I’m in love with her.

(OK, I am truely a sad, pathetic, pervert if I am talking about loving an animated character…man, I gots to get me a girlfriend…)

"That stench…that wonderfulstench!!

All those who think Amy is hot…

Too late.

She’s Kif’s Smizmar, you know?

By the way, I took the liberty of fertilizing your caviar…

Do I detect a case of Red Fever?

I used to think so…

…then I saw Lauren Tom on Monk last week. She’s more Minh Souphanousinphone than Amy Wong. Oh well.

The irony is, seeing as you’re a shellfish, you’re not even kosher.
;j

Amy has a whole bunch of words she uses. She keeps up with the hip, only cool for a week words. Isn’t she supposed to be a graduate student which would make her in her early to mid twenties?
