Jenny, you lectured me as if I’d bombed a school bus or something, never telling me of what I’d been tried and convicted. Sam, you told me I’d never written a staff report anyway, and listened not to my answer. (I had most certainly). So you both can jump up and kiss my glistening Irish ass. I do have to agree that the Board is nothing what it used to be… a lot of the BS from recent years have driven a lot of people off. And I think the hysteria over zombie threads is ridiculous.

THing is, if I start a new thread about something and it was covered at least partially in the past (but not modernized) someone invariably comes along with the link to the old thread with a ‘This was already done here!’. Where ‘here’ points to a 5 year old thread that somehow managed to freeze time with regards to its subject matter since nothing new could possibly come up since then.
And I saw one where someone remarked something like “pity **Nickrz **isn’t around anymore; he’d certainly jump on this post”. And he did.

That’s true, but I don’t think you are quite right to sheet home the blame to the administration here. We used to have world-class puling scrote-bags, but the fact that ours are no longer quite up-to-the-mark is mainly due to the development of the internet. Many domains exist seemingly to cater only to them. How can we hope to compete?
The resurrection of zombie threads has nothing to do with the present situation; retired former moderator Nickrz chose to lead with a two-year-old grievance on top of his current unhappiness.
The administration (mainly, Ed) has been going through and removing the “SDSAB” title from people who have not written a Staff Report in the last two years. The condition for retaining SDSAB title has always been that the person is supposed to write at least one staff report a year; we haven’t enforced this much, but times are changing. A large number of former SDSAB were recently told that their titles were changing, and that seems to have prompted this thread.
The one has nothing to do with the other, and, Nickrz, if you would like to discuss in email, we’d be glad to.
