Even though thiks came out well, is there not a creepy factor?

Link: http://www.baltimoresun.com/news/loc...Dpe%2Dmaryland

So, while this woman did end up having the result of taking care of a priest into child porn, is it not a bit obsessive and weird of her to spend so much time playing Nancy Drew and getting information on him?

It really makes me wonder how many people are following behind us on the Internet, and not even with the suspiscions that this woman had.

Is that not creepy?

I don't think its too creepy. Actually, she probably didn't spend too much time at all. All that stuff is just a few clicks away thru eBay. She obviously saw something that sent up a red flag and she was right.

What would have been creepy is if she somehow convinced herself that something was going on that actually wasn't and brought down a world of shit on some unsuspecting, innocent person. Even if someone has done nothing wrong, a police investigation for kiddie porn looks pretty bad for them.

Yep, I think it's very, very weird. And worrying. It seems that not even our inner thoughts/fantasies are private any more. I don't give a damn that the fellow was a priest.........apart from the actual kid porn, buying such products is not a crime and should be nobody else's business.

And it was the woman who investigated him who was selling the 'anatomically correct' dolls in the first place, was it not?? If she is so worried about the activities of her customers, maybe she should think about selling something else. Bloody hipocrite.

Please note, I am not condoning the sale/purchase of kiddie porn, and I DO believe the priest deserves to be hauled over the coals for that.

I think I would have been suspicious-buying the same kinds of stuff.

Weird.

*sigh* And the asshole just had to be a priest. Damn.

Oh, and if they're the dolls I'm thinking of, My Twinn dolls are really cool-you can have them custom made to look just like you! They're really neat.

However, kudos to the Archbishop handling this case.

On the positive side, maybe this man will get the help he needs since he was caught before his sick desires turned into reality (not 100% guaranteed, but not worth the risk).
