Things are not as happy as they were when I made the OP. My Dad, who is suffering from Alzheimers, myasthenia gravis, and now apparently cancer, has been deteriorating rapidly the last few days - last night he peed in the kitchen, this morning he lifted up the cushion on the couch and peed in it, and tonight shit all over himself twice. The first time we had to stand there and argue with him to get him to let my mom clean him up, he kept blaming her for it, then while she is cleaning him off he smears shit all over her face, then 30 minutes later he did it again.
He was supposed to go to the hospital today to get a melanoma removed from his neck. Cat scans indicate more lumps in his chest. He has lost 40 pounds in the last few months. Not sure how I’m managing to cope with this so far.
What a buzzkill.
If we feel the need for incoherence, we can always talk to Justhink.
