Yes, it has to, to maintain an objective standard.

The count is of pit threads about mods/admins/perfect masters.

A thread like:

Alphagene is new co-mod of the Pit Ed Zotti

for example, obviously isn't a proper pitting. But:

I apologize to Alphagene Rysdad

may or may not be. Without reading it, it's not possible to tell. And even so, there's no objective standard. What degree of sarcasm in a thread negates the thread's title?

It's not fair. Manny gets all the trolls ("whats teh third word taht ends in gry??????? somoene aksed me and i dont knwo1!!!!11") which means a higher Pitting Chance, his forum has to be maintained much more strictly than mine (higher Pitting Chance), and well, he's a New Yorker (extremely probable Pitting Chance). Of course he's got more pit threads. It's a testament to my considerable and natural, I might add, assholishness that I'm in second place still, what with me being the mod of the Happy Fluffy forum and all.

Then again, I read our internal e-mails, where Manny really vents. Trust me, he's holding back when he posts on the boards. I wouldn't switch fora with him in a million years.
