What did the "Frozen Addicts" call the drug?
...I'm sure a few of you have heard of the "Frozen Addicts" from a few years ago, drug users who took a "synthetic heroin" containing the chemical MPTP, and were left in a catatonic, Parkinsonian state by neurological damage.
But my question is...what did the addicts themselves call the drug? It did have a name besides "synthetic heroin," right? |

Apparently, the related MPPP was called "super Demerol", but this was manufactured incorrectly, and became the neurotoxin MPTP, from where the "Frozen Addicts", including the manufacturer, came from.
