There’s a great Los Angeles rock band that will be in Ireland this week. (One of the songwriters is Irish so they do shows in Ireland a few times a year.) Definitely check them out if you get a chance!

They’re called Saucy Monky

Cleere’s in Kilkenny on Wed. 17th
De Barras in Clonakilty on Thurs. 18th
Sirius Art Center in Cobh on Fri. 19th
Glen Tavern in Waterford Sat. 20th

It’s usually a four piece rock band but for this quick mini-tour it will just be the two songwriters: Cynthia Catania and Annmarie Cullen.

And- If you’re and Los Angeles based Doper and you haven’t been out to see them yet I highly recommend you find some time.

Unfortunately, I don’t think there are any Dopers in any of those parts of Ireland.

Where’s your sense of adventure!?

I’ve driven across Ireland, it’s about half the size of Pennsylvania.

O.K., I’ll cut you some slack. But check out the website anyway because usually when they do Ireland they make a point of playing a couple of Dublin gigs (one of them is from Dublin). Don’t know why they decided to skip you this time, but they’ll probably catch you next time around!
