Ever joined an Online Writer's Workshop?
I'm thinking of taking a Writer's Workshop and I've noticed that there are several companies that offer online workshops. Which suits me because I'm working in Asia so I can't exactly take one at the local community centre.
The prices for 10-12 week courses range from $200-$400 US which isn't much of an issue for me. I'm just wondering if anyone has had any experience with any of these types of programs or Writer's Workshops in General? Or would I just be better off buying a few textbooks, working through them then posting my works on the numerous free writer's websites for critiques and such? The structured approach of the courses is what appeals to me most, since I get incredibly lazy with self-studying.

Depends on the programs, but if you want to save the money, join http://www.critters.org. They're free and have a good track record of success.
