Pitting my ex neighbourhood bar

Fuck. I've been going to a bar near my place 2 or 3 times per week to have a beer or 2 and some wings. Been doing it now for almost 2 years. It's gotten to the point that all the staff and I are friends, and when they weren't working, and would come in, would buy me drinks. Not a loud bar, just a nice place to go for people and conversation. I made quite a few friends among the regulars too. The Francisee would come out of the office, and talk history or physics with me (my interests, no formal training). It was a great place.

Now to the fucking over. The guy who runs the franchising company came in on Wednesday morning, changed the locks and told the Franchisee to get out. Then fired all the staff. I won't be back there.

I pit Ralph's on Bank Street in Ottawa.

Yeah, I know how you feel. The same thing pretty much happened to one of my favorite local bars. (except they change it to a pawn shop)

They pretty much unwittingly broke up my bar family..
