Uhm the OP mentioned nothing about asking for and recieving a cite. It was about his use of the rolleyes smile at the end of his post responding to mine.

Cheddarsnax yes I do remember that thread and I used the rolleyes to express my opinion that his post was indeed stupid. I had referred to a cite given by Simonx in my four previous posts. Elucidator then asked me for a cite with a little comment with it and my rolleyes was intended to show that I thought his/her's post was indeed stupid. Inappropiate for GD? probably but it was just a response to elucidator.

In this case I don't think I had said anything that could be considered stupid. My only claim was that the U.S. didn't want any more violence and Reeder gave me the rolleye's and I thought it was inappropiate.

Technically, anyone who "sees" Bushco's "apology" is hallucinating.
The nightly news had tape showing Bush making the claim that he had apologized to the king of Jordan. However, if that apology occured, it was during an untaped private meeting. As the WMD evidence debacle taught us, it is unwise to believe anything Bush tells us without also seeing some concrete physical evidence that things really are as the president describes.

I didn't watch or read the apology, don't intend to, and thus have no idea of the context. In the unlikely event that this "issue" turns out to be something other than another nit-pick on the part of the BoBB I'll pick up on it at that time.

Right now, I'm better off than I was before Bush went into office. OTOH, I'm not all that thrilled with some of the things he's done.

How will I be better off after four years of Kerry? Better pay and benefits? Lower taxes? Less federal deficit? Only mild inflation? Those things are more important to me than opinions of what should/shouldn't have been said to the King of Jordan.
