10. Marathon Bar -- Just caramel and chocolate in psuedo-pretzel bar shape.
09. York Peppermint Patty -- Not technically a bar, but it needs mentioning.
08. Three Musketeers -- Others like it, but not my bag.
07. Whatchamacallit -- Whole bunch of tastes and textures.
06. Hershey's with Almonds -- Almonds.
05. Crunch -- When you don't want anything gooey. The perfect swirl item for DQ Blizzards.
04. Mars Bar -- Almonds.
03. Reese's Cups -- A classic. Too munchable.
02. Milky Way -- As good as Snickers, but no peanuts.
01. Snickers -- Really satisfies.

This is definitive.

Do they still make the Marathon Bar? I haven't seen one in years.

And no Payday? No Baby Ruth? For shame.

Do I need 10?

This year I think I've only bought Reisen and Twizzlers.

And a chocolate bunny or two for Easter.

And some Jelly Bellies.

I guess I don't like bars much at all.

I'm too lazy to post 10.

How about a chick 'o' stick? I ate one because it had such a ridiculous name. Now I'm hooked.

I don't think they make marathon bars any more.

Anything with nuts.

Almond joy.

In no particular order...
  • Reese's Peanut Butter Cup reigns supreme
  • Zero
  • Hershey's with Almonds
  • Mars bar (did they change the formula sometime in the 80s?)
  • Whatchamacallit (don't understand why I like that one )
  • Caramello
  • Payday
  • $100,000
  • Twix
  • Kit-Kat

Reese's Cups, Caramello, and Mars bars are vastly improved if they're frozen. Remember those candy bars that kids sell/sold in school? Caramel, Almond, and Crisp? I found that you could sell a lot more if you kept them in the freezer. Nothing like a frozen candy bar, nosiree!

(1) Reese's Peanut Butter Cups
(2) Reese's Stix
(3) Reese's Pieces
(4) Twix--peanut butter (I don't they make these anymore)

(Alright...I'm fond of peanut butter.)

(5) Nestle's Crunch
(6) Snickers
(7) Almond Joy (I often feel like a nut)
(8) Zagnut (Am I the only one who remembers Zagnut?)
(9) Kit Kat
(10 M&M Peanut

I agree with Koffing--the best candy is frozen candy.

M&M Greens only
I bought a huge bag of green M&Ms from the M&M factory a month or so when I was in Las Vegas.

Whooooo Wheeeeee, I'm still feeling the effects!

Does anyone remember that candy bar, I forget the name but it had something different every bite.

My wife says it was a Sky Bar. It was her brother Rick's favorite.

Sheesh, everyone with the Crunch bar. No one but me likes Krackle better?

For car trips, a Rolo is much less messy than a Caramello, although I like both.

Whatchamacallit bars were better when they first came out. They were bigger, and they didn't have that caramel layer. Changed the bar fundamentally.

Marathon bars were great. Strong association in my mind between Marathons and cutting wood with Dad.

My all-time favorite, no longer being made that I'm aware of: Bar None. Chocolate wafers, covered in chocolate, with some meager peanut sprinklins just to add texture. Mmmmm, chocolate coma.....
