Bad commercials

We see hundreds of 'em. Every day. Every minute they're intruding into our lives and households. Commercials. The evil spawn of tv stations. Some are funny (I'm going to start a thread about funny ones, too), but most are horrendous.

What tv commercials do you utterly hate with a gusto? Personally, I hate most perfume commercials and those stupid "Diamonds are forever" ones. Toss your opinions in here (But only if they're humble )

Here is the problem, some commercials are so crappy because I can't even tell (or remember) what they are for. Which makes 'em hard to name now. I used to HATE those "Sine-Off" commercials where they used a "Sound Off" cadence to root for this sinus headache medicine. Argh.

But the commercial I hate with a f*cking passion is the antibacterial Tide commercial where the new dad is talking about his wife getting the flu, and so she totally refuses to let the baby near her. I mean, she won't touch the thing. And the voiceover from Dad discusses how relieved he is that he can at least wash their bed sheets in this great detergent so his wee baby daughter won't get sick when it is all over.

Oh the rants this has spawned. I've got a breastfeeding rant (several points to make on that one), the overpromotion of antibacterial products rant, the complete and utter lack of reality rant... This commercial pisses me off on multiple levels.

I hate those "Make 7 Up Yours" ads. The first one ("Make 7, Up Yours") was funny, but now they're annoying.
