Anyone want to see what Hurricane Charley did to an island in my county?

You know, all barrier islands move, but it sure is amazing to actually be able to see it happening in one afternoon.
The island will probably grow back into one piece after a few years. The same tides that made it will remake it.
Hmmm … guess they’ll have to rename the island to “North North Captiva Island” and “South North Captiva Island”!
We also refer to the island as Upper Captiva. So we may end up with Upper-Upper Captiva and Lower-Upper Captiva. Or maybe Middle Captiva or Little Captiva. I’d like to check it out personally, but you gotta get a boat (or Aero-Plane) to go there.
