John Kerry charged with DUI

The title says it all.

Apparently a former girlfriend was involved as she purchased the beer he drank before leaving the pub and being arrested.

So what? Winston Churchill, Ullysses Grant, Ted Kennedy and George W. Bush and many many many others have been drunk at one time or another too. What's your point?

I suspect people aren't following the link, or if they are, they aren't aware that the presidential candidate's initials are JFK.

"Drink driving"?

I thought it was a typo, the first time, but then it appeared again:
Quote:
he admitted drink driving along Merrywalks in Stroud on August 11.

[snip]

The court heard that Kerry had be the subject of a previous ban for drink driving in 1996.
Is this a Briticism? A phrase peculiar to Gloucestershire? Although that "had be" has me wondering if perhaps the compositor was guilty of drink writing.

I think it's more worrying that John Kerry is pretending to be 42 years old, and that he has a girlfriend in South Gloucestershire. Does Teresa know about this?

And "self-employed contract cleaner." What's that, like a hired killer? I bet he's the one that knocked off Vince Foster!

Amidst the raging regarding the upcoming election, it was an attempt to introduce the notion that things are not always what they seem at first glance. Apparently that mission failed. My apologies.

A contract cleaner? I saw a movie once about a cleaner. His job was to "tidy up the loose ends" if the first hitman screwed up. Kill the mark, the hitman, and ALL possible witnesses (if any). A very bad dude.

In fact, this seems to be rather trollish. Don't make a deceptive thread title again.
