Not that I don’t think this is a funny thread ('cause I do and it is), but people get pretty sensitive about the false attribution of quotes. And, of course, we all know it’s a big no-no to do it. Certain allowances–for certain infractions–can be made for ‘teh funny’ threads, but I’m gonna have to discuss this with the rest of the staff to see whether this thread can live on. Until then, it’s closed.
The Powers That Be have decided that the misquote rule is unbendable, even when done in jest. Members have been severely reprimanded (and in a few cases banned) for showing disregard for this rule.
