A big question I know. So many threads. But I’m sure a significant few stand out in our minds as those we can always come back to when we need a good chuckle. For me, it would be this one, particularly Larry Mudd’s account of a…um, latrine picnic, if you will.

The Horror Of Blimps thread had me in tears of laughter; there have been many others, but that one is the first that springs to mind.

WallyM7’s “Why Me?” thread is the funniest thread to ever grace these boards. Hands down.
I can’t find the thread on a search (and it’s really annoying me) but there was a Pit thread from some time in the last year about “Kentucky Fried Taco Huts” and how combining the restaraunts has decreased the quality of each respective chain’s foods that had me laughing out loud repeatedly.
Maybe someone else will remember it and have better results than me.

I really think this is my favorite thread of all time, as far as humor goes. The long stories, TMI threads, all that can be funny…but the first two posts in Homer’s thread are just sublime.

This is, and always is, the first thread that comes to mind when someone asks this. I use “is that a leg?” in normal conversation all the time, like it’s a Simpsons quote.
