Need help finding a Jimmy Page/Robert Plant song

Hello.

Perhaps a good ten-years-ago I was tripping on some magic mushrooms (or Hawaiian woodrose seeds) while walking along and listening to a Walkman radio.

Anyway, it was my good fortune to have stumbled upon a station that was broadcasting a live show of Jimmy Page and Robert Plant, from Sacramento, California, I think.

And so what really grabbed my attention was that opening the concert was some older fellow with a VERY thick Wales accent (though it might have been an Irish accent, not sure). Thus whilst the crowd began to roar with anticipation, the fellow in question began reading a VERY beautiful poem.

I don’t recall too many of the words to the poem, save something like, “…and when he awoke on the shore, he found in his hand a silver branch with white flowers … and a beautiful woman came to him …”

I’m not really much of a poem guy, but THAT really blew me away with how cool the words were combined with how the dude was saying them in a very slow and deliberate way … while the crowd’s roar began to rise as he continued along speaking them.

I am hoping that they might have made a CD of the concert in question, as just the opening alone would be well worth the price because it was so powerful and beautiful, IMHO. Thus, I ask, might any of you Plant/Page fans know off hand about said concert in question, and name the CD (if there is one)?

“Thanks!!!” in advance for any help.

Don’t know who the guy was (did he run like a Welshman?), but the story sounds a bit like the Celtic tale the Voyage of Bran mac Febal.

I said “Wales” accent; I meant “Welsh.”

Um, I never heard of that which you mention. I was hoping someone would know the CD so I could run out and get.
