I did see one warning where he used a word he shouldn’t have. Suffice it to say that he wasn’t being niggardly with his word selections.

He seemed to last longer than most returning bannees, though, especially given his posting rate. I know I shouldn’t be curious about this but, dammit, I am!

Sorry, it wasn’t there when I started this thread. So to summarize his offenses: He insulted someone in GD, an insult which carried some racial overtones, but was not out and out racist. He called someone a Bozo and somesuch while the travelling Carlos Castelenada thread was stopped over in Cafe Society. And he used the n-word in a rather gratutitous manner. Was the final one the brick that broke the camel’s back, so to speak?
He seemed from the get-go to have the exact profile of someone who’d be banned before his first month was up. There should be an SDMB pool on people like this. (Unfortunately, I doubt it’s possible to organize such a thing without feeling the back of a moderator’s hand.)
He also thought that he was on a mission from Jesus to fight an international Satanic conspiracy. The board is usually pretty forgiving of eccentricity, but I think there’s a limit to how delusional a person can be and still be a valid, functioning part of the board. There also might have been liability issues stemming from the treatment someone so out of touch with reality might receive here, and how he might react to it.
Frankly, I would have seen this coming even without the returnee issue. He kept flaming out in spectacular ways.
