Well that was something I didn't really need to know about.

If anybody goes into the thread titled "Free Eunech Pics" let me know if they are as unsettling as I fear. I certainly didn't have the nerve to see that.

No unsettling pictures; however, links were posted. I didn't follow them, as I have to go to bed (and sleep well too) in a few minutes.

I have seen some pictures, BME Extreme or some such. Yes, unsettling is most apt.

On one of the cable channels (HBO/IFC/Sundance) I recall watching a one hour special on this, with interviews and some rather graphic photos and, well...

Hang on, I clicked on one of the links. Actually, I clicked on *several*, and that was the first one that worked. The page was titled something like "Bob's castration pics!" or something like that. I can't remember his name and I can't remember the exact title. Then it had photos arranged in a grid. Satisfied that I'd mustered the gall to visit the site at all, I didn't actually look that closely. A once in a lifetime opportunity wasted, you may say. According to some guy on the boards there was a video too but I didn't see any signs of it and did not intend to look further. But here's the thing that gets me - just like CalMeacham's forum description - the pictures were on a pleasant light blue background, and to their left was a LARGE CARTOON TEDDY BEAR HOLDING BALLOONS.



Sorry, I dunno if this post properly conveys the incredible... SOMETHINGNESS of that site. On the left, a teddy with ballons. On the right, a guy getting his balls cut off. I suggest the stronger ones among us visit that site for themselves so they can properly grasp this.

Isn't there a certain reluctance for surgeons to lop off body parts that are still functioning? I know I went through hell *discussing* back and forth getting my tubal ligation until I flat out told my ob/gyn that I would go through every single doc in Rochester NY until I got my tubes tied at 21. [ I was single, no sign of marriage, and 2 very disasterous miscarriages under my belt. I didnt want to be on the pill all my adult life and had no realistic possibility of ever managing to carry anything to term safely.]

But they have. From what I just read, most of them have done it.

And of course there are some who are thinking about it. But as it's a bit more serious a descision than "becoming" a nudist (you ca put your clothes back on) it rather makes sense they'd want a message board where they can find out if it's really what they want.

That's more unusual (to me) than the eunuch site... that's that's saying something. He has a man's muscular front and a womans's curvy rear end (in the rear butt shot) and you can still see female shape lines in his torso.

As you know, I was born female and lived many years as such. I would say I was not really "feminine" but more on the tomboy/butch side. I was always hanging out with guys doing guy things. I loved to drink beer and get into fights, work on cars, and stuff like that. I never felt like a girl and none of my friends ever treated me that way either. I was always percieved as a guy by everyone--even my family. But in those times sex change operations were not really talked about, so I just suffered "in the wrong body" which lead to major drug and alcohol problems.

In poking around the site I didn't see any fully frontal nude pics until the one of him attending his Berlin gallery show and standing in front of a fetish movie poster of a naked picture of himself titled "More Bang For Your Buck" and there he is a muscular man on top with a fully real, non-surgically altered woman's vagina below. For some reason that's far more jolting than M to F trans/ sexual/gender photos of females with penises if only because I've never seen anything like it before.

Google "Havin' Buck for Breakfast" for an interesting Village Voice article on him. It's interesting seeing him in the shot with the two Male to Female transsexuals/trans gendered ladies that tower over him. Despite the surgical mods both he and they have had, they do appear (at a glance) to be more "angular" and physically imposing than he is. The feminine roundness of his features is a lot more evident when sandwiched between the two ladies.

Not for nothing, but there are trans guys who read and post to this forum. And I doubt a single one wants to be referred to as "a guy with a pie". That's as bad as calling your average, non-porn trans woman a "chick with a dick". (Which could be one reason the gay dude in the Dan Savage column is having problems finding gay trans men to hook up with, but that's beside the point.)

No offense intended, I was just using the term found in the article. I tend to agree with the response by Paris ("Calling a cunt a "pie" just sounds childish.") But as the other responders didn't seem to have a problem with it...
