I don’t like the Podcast Directory. You’ve got the featured ones and the search engine basically, not a real good way to browse. So what are some more good ones? I’ve got:
The Don & Mike Show - comedy radio show Paul Harris Show - benign talk show where he basically lets guests sell their books. Michael Feldman’s Whad’ya Know? - NPR comedy In Our Time - BBC intellectual discussion This Week in Whedon - all about Joss Whedon’s various works Univsersity Channel Podcast - talks on policy and whatnot
and some various news & NPR shows. I think there must be all sorts of interesting obscure stuff up there, but I don’t know how to find it. I want more stuff so I’ll always have something new to listen to. Any tips?
There was a previous thread in which people traded Podcasts.
Well, not to toot my own horn (or my friends horn for that matter… man, that sounds wrong), there’s the Scott Sigler podcast novels. I do most of his graphic work, but his novels are great mindless fun. Hours and hours of entertainment. He writes sci-fi/thriller material along the lines of Lincoln Child and Michael Crichton.
His first one is EarthCore which was very successful, and landed him a print deal.
Then he released Ancestor , which he just finished. He’s about to start up another novel entitled Infection on March 11th, which should be a good romp. They’re all episodic, and each episode runs about 45 mins.
From his main site, you can get to all his podcast novels at scottsigler.podshow.com , the website is almost complete and you’ll be able to access all his novels from the left side.
His stories are also available on the iTunes Music Store as well.
