The Straight Dope, that is!
Lately, I probably check on here 3 times a day. (I spend at least an hour online here)
How much do you Dope per day?
1 to 2 hours per day on average. Sometimes more (my personal best is 11 hours in one day) and sometimes less (a few days between visits here and there).
And I’m not addicted, dammit! I just reallyreallyreallyreallyreally like it. I could quit anytime I wanted… I just don’t want to right now, m’kay? 
I’m on throughout the day, but never for more than maybe 10 minutes at a time. Chalk it up to a terrible attention span. I did spend HOURS every day reading Cecil’s columns when I first found this site, though.
Welllll, there used to be a leaflet with a 12-step program…
But the goat ate it.
Well, I’m in and out, in and out, in and out…
And sometimes I check the Dope.
I usually wake up between 3-4 in the morning to get my Dope. It’s the only time the house is silent (unless I’m listening to my iPod playlists while surfing) and I totally enjoy it. I hit GQ, then IMHO, then MPSIMS and finally the Pit. It can take a good 4+ hours if posters have been prolific during the day/night. If posters haven’t posted much, the whole thing can be done in about 1.5 hours.
This is my favorite place to hang out. People are smart, some are smart-asses (like me!) and some are just fun. I consider a lot of you’se peoples to be my friends, even if you’re completely unaware of me!
