Some kids in SC did the nasty on a school bus and according to this article and the school officials, it was the most awful thing ever to happen in their state since that carpet-bagger scalawag Sherman marched through.

Yeah, it's not a good thing for the kids to be screwing on a school bus. But the incredulous tone of the article and the "adults" just grates on me. Their amazement that teens would be having SEX (uh oh, I'm going to hell now) is way off the scale. The kids were expelled for gods sake. Talk about over the top response. The embarassment of getting found out would be punishment enough.

I doubt that. The kids around them must have known what was going on, and probably were in on it either as voyeurs or lookouts. I can't imagine the kids would be very embarrassed knowing that other kids knew.

Also, Gummo is reacting just the way he should. What's he going to say? "Eh, whatever. Kids will be kids." I don't think so. The coaches and adults were in positions of responsibility, and they did a pretty piss-poor job of it, frankly. Whatever the kids do in the backseats of their own cars is their business, but if they're having sex in the back of a school bus on the way home from a school-sanctioned event, within a few feet of adult coaches, Gummo has every reason to be pissed.

This isn't the first time I've heard about such activities on a school bus. I know I've seen a thread on a previous incident but I can't seem to find it.

As for Gummo, sure he's supposed disapprove of the activity and punish it. It was just the way they act like it was so unthinkable thing to happen. Teens wanting to have Sex? Inconceivable! (Sorry)
