Seemed to be the center of controversy there for a while, now I can’t remember the last time she showed up anywhere. She still with SDMB? Doing the same job or reassigned?
She’s been flying under the radar a bit, no new controversies, but she’s still around, still an Admin. Her last post was in this ATMB thread about reporting posts.
She seems to be confining her activities largely to ATMB of late.
? I guess I’m kinda confused, any controversy was years ago, and we have rules about not dredging up old threads, n’est-ce pas?
TubaDiva has been spending most of her time on SDMB behind the scenes, with administrative work, as have I.
I suppose it depends on what you consider a controversy, but there was an incident spawning a few pit threads and a couple in this forum less than a year ago. (As you should well know, having participated in most of them.)
Right before subscription renewal? You’re not being fair, Garfield, we still have another six months before all of those cool new features that were promised have to be added. I have no doubt that it will be worth the wait.

At this point, I’d settle for this place actually working more than half the time.

I have had exactly one interaction with TubaDiva. She was very nice and helpful. Why are you guys blaming her for shit she has no control over?

It’s been (repetedly) hashed out in the correct forum several times before, even (as my previous post alluded to) as recently as earlier this year.
What was all this controversy about?
We aren’t going to go there. We just…aren’t.
She also made an announcement on 9/19, which is at the top of every forum right now.
I usually see her clarifying the same repeated questions over and over again in ATMB. Maybe since CK made all the stickies look so nice and concise that less newbie questions get asked and therefore there is less of a need for TubaDiva.

Color me curious. Where do you get “mind reading” from statements posted with “suspect” and “should” as part of them?
It was a bit of hyperbole. To tell the truth, I do not believe that it is possible for one person to read the mind of another. Do you? Are there circumstances where you would not question a claim of mind reading? Just curious.
Of course there. They fall under the category where the person makes the comment appropriately. But it’s up to you how you want to be perceived/understood in writing.
The majority of this thread has little to do with questions about this message board. And since the question in the OP has been answered by Dex, I think we can safely close this down.
