NBC News Overnight.

I was perusing some things online and came across Ellerbee's name. Brought back memories. Why can't we have that quality of writing these days?

Check out her book: "Take Big Bites."

She has a production company that produces for Nickelodeon.

I am in the middle of her first book And So It Goes and she mentions that many of the complaints at the time were similar to yours. She basically ended up saying that when corporate types run the news room, you don't get quality news programs.

Weekend. Great show, but it was replaced by SNL and was never seen since.

Dobyns and Ellerby were a great team.
