Cancelled: My Own Worst Enemy, Lipstick Jungle - And Perhaps Prison Break Too

Both shows, My Own Worst Enemy and Lipstick Jungle have been canceled.

And things don’t look well for Prison Break either.

Things don’t look so hot for Pushing Daisies either.

I’d swear revenge if the prospect of losing my weekly dose of Chenoweth weren’t so enervating.

Does that mean Audrey can finally come back to 24 now?

And my condolences to fans of My Own Worst Enemy, it looked interesting and I was planning to give it a shot with online episodes soon.

The first few episodes of Lipstick Jungle were entertaining. Then it went off a cliff.

NOOOOOO!

What can we do? Veronica Mars was able to be saved, we should be able to keep Pushing Daisies from getting the axe.
Meh to Lipstick Jungle. I can’t say I am surprised. I am a little surprised that they are pulling the plug on My Own Worst Enemy so soon, the show just started. And I am doubly surprised that they are doing it in a season where everone in the industry is saying ratings for new shows are far below average (likely due to the election). But I guess that’s how it goes, someone at the studio doesn’t like it and they are taking thier chance to baill.

I never watched (or even heard of) Lipstick Jungle.

Prison Break should’ve ended after the first season, and definitely after the second season. This third season is just silly.

My Own Worst Enemy… I’m not sure. I kind of enjoyed it, but I’m not sure it really ever hit its stride.

Back the hell off of Pushing Daisies. I love, love, love that show. I’ll be saddened to see it taken off the air.

Was Pushing Daisies on this week or last week? When is the next new episode?

It wasn’t on this week or last IIRC. If they cancel it, expect to see me on the evening news disheveled and cursing as the cops haul me away from the ABC building. I’ll try to flash the SDMB gang sign. Wait, do we have a gang sign?

It wasn’t on last night, as I found to my displeasure after rushing home to see it. Last week it wasn’t on either, but that was scheduled. I blame the Welsh.

Whoever decided to extend Prison Break past the second season (rather than going out a campy-yet-high note) should be shot. American TV is the best in the world, but they can’t hold a candle to the Brits when it comes to knowing when the party’s done.

I was shocked that this show ever made it past the pilot. Absolutely awful, derivative, poorly acted, poorly plotted junk. Good riddance.

I’m sorry, I’m not clear on your opinion of the show. Can you speak slower, or perhaps rephrase?

l HATED IT!!!

It things like this that make me think Cisco is my Doper brother from another mother. Everyday you seem to say something that is creepily similar to something I planned to say.

Get out of my head!

I’m surprised Lipstick Jungle was renewed it all. I thought it would fall quicker to the Lindsay Price curse - her previous series as a regular were Pepper Dennis (13 episodes), *Coupling *(10 episodes), and *Jack & Jill *(6 episodes).

This is actually the fourth season of Prison Break.

She gives off a Ted McGinley vibe, doesn’t she? Sort of like Chyler Leigh.

Oh, yeah, you’re right. I knew something was off about my calculations.

And yet, Knight Rider has plans for its second season.

The world makes no sense.
