I’ve been looking for a small dog, suitable for our space, and I found one! A nice woman posted to Craig’s List that she needed a home for her year old chihuahua. She is bringing him over on Monday.

I’m SO excited! I need to read up about the breed because I’ve only ever had big dogs. Or at least dogs that could stand to take walks in the cold. This guy weighs less than 10 pounds.

I’m going to teach him to do cute tricks like roll over and pretend he’s bored and stuff. Maybe I’ll even knit him a sweater, something I always SWORE I thought was ridiculous. But won’t he need a sweater if he goes outside? Hmmm…maybe i can just stick him in my coat pocket and off we’ll go.

are you gonna get him a wardrobe? perhaps he will fit in a purse.

I demand pictures–as soon as he arrives. I thought dog sweaters were silly too, but little dogs get cold. I read about one dog that brings his sweater to his human when he is cold–aww!
