You Can't Buy Loyalty, They Say....

I bought it though, the other day.
You can’t buy friendship, tried and true,
But just the same, I bought that too.

I made my bid and on the spot,
Bought love and faith and a whole job lot
Of happiness, so all in all,
The purchase price was pretty small.

I bought a single trusting heart,
That gave devotion from the start.
If you think these things are not for sale,
Buy a brown eyes pup with a wagging tail.

Yup… That’s what I bought alright, and she’s sleeping with her head on my foot right now.

She is an 8 week old sable & white Papillon named Bunny. She joined the pack yesterday after I got off work. She’s pretty darned cute!

Working on how to get pics posted since my dying computer won’t allow me to download.

The other critters are not nearly as happy with her as I am. :dubious: The Gordons are OK, very curious about her. The other Papillon was OK at first, then realized Bunny was staying and is not amused. One cat, Ruby, is OK with her, but Charlie…Charlie snarls and hisses and looks like a damned miniature cougar. I would be afraid to leave them together… he could easily kill her.

Happy Mother’s Day on your new addition!

Thank you. At least I didn’t kill my own thread completely.

I knew I wasn’t one of the ‘cool kids’ but… wow. I’ll be going now.

A lovely poem. I hope everything settles in okay.

Pictures. WE NEED PICTURES!

And now, dammit!

Congrats on the newest addition to your family.

I am so jealous. Pictures please. And I love that poem.

I’ve always said that a dog is the only love money can buy. Congrats on the new addition to the family.
