Chicago "greatest city in the world"

I don't know about it being the greatest (what is?), but as far a larger U.S. cities are concerned, I'd move back to Chicago before relocating to any other large city.

It's a matter of opinion, of course.
So, Nation, in your opinion, what is the greatest city in the world? Why? That could be a jumping-off point for an interesting discussion (which is kinda what people do here). Derisive laughter, not so much. |

Having been to most cities in the US, I'd live in Chicago over all of them except (possibly) NYC or Seattle (small, but I LOVE fresh salmon and mussles!).

Chicago is a great place to live and we have diverse neighborhoods here as well with not just low income but rather expensive areas as well. Whatever your choice and style chicago has it for you. I know if you're looking to relocate a good place to check out is [deleted]. But other than that Chicago is a great place to live except for the winter time. Its freezing here in the winter but you can get used to it.
