Free All Expenses Paid 2 Week Vacation Anywhere In The World: Where/When Do You Want To Go?
Assuming someone were to offer you that deal, where (and when) would you want to go? For instance, Colorado in winter if you like to ski, or in summer if you want to just camp out or right now if you just want to get away.
I am long overdue for a trip back to NYC or Berlin, but would probably like to go someplace new for me - India seems like a place I would like to visit for two weeks - just to experience the food, culture, beaches and have the experience. I would probably wait until it was winter here - and go there for the warm weather as well. When and where do you want to go? |

I'd go to Spain or Portugal because I've never been to either. I'd go in late spring.

Today, I'm picking Bulgaria. I've been missing Bulgaria a lot lately.
No doubt as soon as I arrived, someone would do something really annoying or be incredibly rude to me and I'd wonder why I thought this would be a good idea, of course. |

Russia. I've been most places in Europe, and it's easy enough to get to anywhere we haven't been, but I've never been to Russia. I'd love someone to just present me with all the tickets, visas etc and just say "Go!".
If I was going back to somewhere I've already been, I'd say Berlin. I love Berlin. It looks like I might actually be getting a free ticket to spend Christmas in Missouri, so I don't have to wish for that one! |

Vegas, baby, Vegas!
(I know you live there, but having previously lived in London for 30+ years I wouldn't want to visit it - even though it's a fascinating city.) |

Fiji. Where I would overstay my visa and open up a hot dog and donut shop.

Cairnes Australia.
My vacation would consist of myself, mrAru, our friend Christian and a small motor cruiser chandlered for the 2 weeks, fishing, swimming and otherwise lazing about on some of the smaller reef islands. Scuba gear [all 3 of us are qualified] fishing gear, and plenty of sunscreen =) because we are really lazy and would fish for dinner a lot of the time, oh, and the loan of a couple decent underwater digital cameras =) |

England.
I would hit all the museums, do the Jane Austen and Sherlock Holmes and Jack the Ripper thing and eat curry until I was sweating spices. To help the local economy I would buy buttloads of books and yummy, yummy YARN ( all Brit made) and find a british beer that I like. I like cheap beer, so it could be a problem, but if I find a sponsor, I will make it my life's work to devote myself to finding a decent Brit beer, because I am like that. |

Ireland.
Summer or Fall. Basically, I just want there to be leaves on the trees and no snow or cold daytime temps (below 50 degrees F) |

The Galapagos Islands. I figure I can afford to go most places by myself, but not there, and it sounds intriguing.

Absolutely. I'd want to go snorkeling on the Great Barrier Reef, check out the rain forests and then maybe a side trip to the South Pole while I'm on that side of the equator. Of course, the family would have to come along.

If we're talking about all expenses, then Tokyo.

Saint Martin or Sint Maarten.
My gf and I have vacationed there every year for the past 5 years; she has been going yearly for 12 years. We have made friends who we look forward to seeing. I would go back in a heartbeat, and would relocate permanently if I could convince my children to do so as well. |

Australia, Kiwiland or possibly Ireland. All would be better in their times of Autumn.

This is an extremely difficult question to answer.
I have two possible answers. One is if I'm interested in going back to someplace I've gone before, but truly love. In that case: Paris. The other is if I'm interested in going to someplace I've never been, but have always wanted to go. In that case: Hong Kong |

Tokyo. If it's all expenses paid, then I would explore every market and restaurant I could and experience as much food as possible in 2 weeks.

Hawaii. I'd need some help with the island-hopping, but hey, someone else is paying for it, right?
Either that or Rome. |

Greece and tour as many ruins as I could find. A bonus would be to volunteer on an archeological dig. The season wouldn't really matter, but early fall I guess.

Australia. Tomorrow. One of my best friends lives there, and I need a vacation.

Spain or Japan. I'd rather go to Thailand but if it's an all expense paid trip, I'd choose Spain or Japan and spend my own money for Thailand since it is very cheap over there.
Although, Iceland would be awesome as well. No matter where I go, I'll have to hire plenty of guides to take me fishing. Fortunately, those expenses are covered.

Kenya or some place like that. On Spafari. See as much wildlife as possible, meet some locals, enjoy some relaxing pedicures and facials n stuff, & try not to feel too guilty about being a decadent American.

Ditto. There aren't too many places that we can't afford to go to, but because of the expense and logistical wrangling involved, this would be my choice, too.

Bhutan. Visitors are required to exchange a large amount of money for each day they are there, something like US$200 a day. It's their way of keeping out the riffraff. It would be great if this expense were paid.

Two weeks isn't long enough for some of the places I want to go. There's either too much to see or it takes too long to get there.
I choose... Peru. In May, for the best weather in all three zones. All expenses means that I don't have to hike to Machu Pichu... they'll airlift me in and out. And I can stay in a canopy treehouse hotel in the rain forest. YAY! Let me know when it's all booked so I can make sure my boss will give me the time off. |

How did you intend it? Ireland - next week. I am missing the family reunion this year due to financial issues. (I'll have the money like, the following week, it's just pathetic!)

I'd love to spend two weeks just walking around Buenos Aires or Istanbul. October should be nice for either location.

I would go to the Barbed WireMuseum in LaCrosse, Kansas.
That way when I got back people would say "You were offered an all expense vacation and you went to see a musuem of barbed wire? And I would say "It was well worth it." It would cheese off |

Hell, while you're at it, you might as well just say Joseph Glidden's house in DeKalb. Then you have the added value of the site being only 65 miles away in addition to the barbed wire connection.
Personally, I'd like to see more Western Europe. I've only seen the southern UK and northern France, so almost anywhere else would be awesome. |

Australia. Of all the places on my wish list, Australia's the farthest, so would cost the most air fare to get to. I don't know whether 2 weeks would be enough, so I'd pay for a 3rd week.
And I'd probably go sometime around the summer solstice. |
