This one:

44 The Lost World: Jurassic Park Universal Studios $618,638,999 1997

Followed closely by these two:

3 Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest Walt Disney Pictures $1,066,179,725 2006

6 Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End Walt Disney Pictures $960,996,492 2007

These two suck pretty hard as well:

10 Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace 20th Century Fox $924,317,558 1999

49 War of the Worlds DreamWorks/Paramount Pictures $591,745,540 2005

The DaVinci Code most definitely. Followed by The Pirates of the Caribbean movies. Their only reason to exist is to give Johnny Depp an excuse to romp.

1. Transformers 2

2. Phantom Menace

Soon, New Moon will join the list, of course.

Da vinci code is unbelievably bad. The book was alright, but... In the book it takes a chapter to solve a puzzle. In the movie he just looks around the room once and knows the answer.

I don't know about your list. Included inflation might be nice. It kills off too many movies.

Of those I've seen, clearly it's The Matrix Reloaded.

Other candidates include Casino Royale (I assume that the Daniel Craig version), The Lion King and Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace

Both Pirates sequels, Mamma Mia! and Titanic (costumes and effects alone aren't enough to make me want to watch it, with its cliched love story, flat characters and awful script.).

I believe it was the 2nd Pirates movie that I fell asleep in. That is not the sign of a good movie.

At least with Titanic I was awake and actively hating the movie.

Spider-Man 3 was a big steaming piece of crap, especially compared to the first two.

It's a fairly depressing list of movies overall. If I was looking for a good stupid romp, I'd much prefer Crank or Big Trouble in Little China to Jurassic Park or whatever.

Ranking them by badness is pretty impossible. (Though are a few that are good, like Casino Royale.)

Titanic takes all awards for worst, in my book. Pure-Dee schlock formula everything. Of course, there's always Ghost Dad, but it wasn't top grossing. Pirates very very boring. couldn't stay awake, and i had plenty of energy when it started.
