Are Badgers Commercially Farmed?

My daughter gave me a very nice gift-a badger bristle shaving brush.
For those of you who shave with a blade-you cannot beat a badger bristle brush-it allows you to make great shaving cream with your shaving soap and water.
My question: badgers are fairly solitary, generally nasty beasts-how do you get enough badger fur to amke a shaving brush?
Are badgers raised on farms?
