Shaved rodents anyone?

I just now have some up with something I Must try.
I want to capture a small rodent, say rabbit sized, and shave it bald. Of course I would use ether, or a similar substance(on the rabbit) to induce sleep as it would be rather stressfull(for the rabbit).

I would relase Mr. Bunnyrabbit back into the wild, after taking pictures to ensure that the rabbit will not contact the authorities.

I dont know why I want to do this, but it seems that it would be rather funny.

And for the record, I do NOT use drugs, and I am NOT drunk nor do I drink.

However, I still maintain that you have dangerous quantities of spare time. Why not post a recipe for rabbit at my cooking thread or perhaps, a bit of smilie art at my gallery thread? That will Hoover up some of your extra moments in a jiff.

If you search through the following thread, you’ll find and animal that is described occasionally as a “baldcat,” “shaved weasel,” or “naked wombat.”

If you ever see it in real life, be gentle with it. It’s kind of jumpy.

I woke up this afternoon after work(bad long slow boring day) and my desire to shave a rodent bald had all but vanished, I still think it would be a riot, but i dont think Ill ever do it.

I second porcupine’s suggestion to go look at the naked mole-rat cam. Or just do a web search for naked mole rats. I like naked mole rats. I also had to post to this thread due to what I wrote under “interests” in my profile.
