Rahm in the Shower, Union League Power
This latest incident with Chicago trained Rham Emmanuel reminds me of my old boss from First Chicago who had a habit of taking male members of his staff (all were male except for me) into the sauna at the Union League Club when it was an "all male" club.
At the time, I thought he convened in the shower because I noticed when he was negotiating (or lying) he would sweat profusely. I concluded that his sauna strategy hid his "tension sweating" during shake downs of male staff members. Is this shower/sauna strategy a Chicago style power tactic or a simple "cover for anxiety sweating"? Cecil, what do you think?
