What did you look like in high school?

For me it was the '80s, so I looked pretty ridiculous. This is not the yearbook photo, but it is from the same photo session as my yearbook photo. If I find my actual yearbook picture I'll post it later.

Here's my senior photo. Just for poops and giggles, here's my senior prom photo, taken at his house. Know that I'm 5'9". We made an intimidating couple, tall and dark in a sea of electric blues and pinks.

A couple of years ago I was looking through my parents' old photo albums. Damn, I was a stud muffin back then! Nothing to scan or show you guys though, as all of those photos are 1000 miles away.

My sister looked like a gumdrop, what with the Dorothy Hamill hairdo. She's definitely improved with age.

I don't have my senior photo scanned, but here's my prom photo, which is actually 1991, but that was still the 80's and I looked the same anyway. Pastels were over by then and every single one of us wore black and jewel tones.

I was no good at hairspray, therefore no wall o' bangs, but I had a perm even though my hair is naturally curly!

After all night in curlers and tons of hairspray, these curls turned to strings shortly after the picture was taken. The colors are less than accurate - the necklace was a crystal heart, and my eyes are hazel. Plus they erased the moles on my cheek. Oh well...

This is my junior prom, so it would have been 1975.

I was so happy to have a prom dress that wasn't a hand-me-down from one of my older sisters -- and a Gunne Sax, no less! I would have been hot shit if it weren't for the fugly glasses. Huge frames were all the rage, but they hadn't made it to WV yet, so the closest I could get was men's oversized aviator frames.

Actually, it wasn't me who loved purple, but my boyfriend (seen in the purple suede pic). You see, he was a real douche (16-year-old me didn't "get it" at the time) and he was supposed to be my date to my senior homecoming dance and prom, so I bought purple dresses for each. However, at the last minute before each dance, he dumped me, so I went with other people. He was such a scumbag, but I was in *looove*

June 1995: I'm the one in the sweater (not sure why I was wearing a sweater in June).
Running cross-country, November, 1994: I'm in maroon. Of course, since I wear sweaters in June, I wear shorts and a tank top in November. This is a picture of a picture, so it's not real high quality.

This is the best I can find. It was at the start of what Americans would call the junior year of high school -- though I wasn't anywhere near school, since I was in Germany on my way to spend the year in England. (I was enrolled in the New South Wales Correspondence School at the time.)

I don't have my senior picture. I threw my yearbook away many years ago.

This picture was taken by my physics teacher, very early in 1997. I was a Junior at the time. We were doing something with static electricity which is why I had a balloon stuck to my chest.

Yes my pupils are also huge, but not for the same reason Hal's are huge I'm sure. I just naturally have massive pupils.

I had saved up about a month worth of paychecks and for my birthday (Jan'97) I treated myself to contact lenses and a haircut (about 15" gone). The next day, my teacher took this picture.

If I lost about 70 pounds, I'd look pretty damn close to this still.

The picture is from 2005, btw. Not a long time ago, but I do think I look noticeably younger.
