Computer technical help needed - for a novel

I am working on a novel and it has become necessary for me to find a SME (subject matter expert) on some technical computer things like creating popups.

Any takers? I promise to thank you in the acknowledgements should the book ever be published.

What do you need to know? The "traditional" pop-up, that is one that pops up in an entirely new window has fallen out of fashion due to ubiquitous pop-up blocking software and extensions in favor of JavaScript-based "hover" pop-ups, which are much harder to block (you have to disable JavaScript, which means also disabling much of a website's functionality).
