Chocolate Milk

Isn’t it silly for a grownup to order chocolate milk at a restaurant?

I was having breakfast today and the guy sitting one table over and I couldn’t help but laugh.

Meh, I had a big glass of chocolate milk just the other day. Often I will buy a small container at work to add to my coffee. That way I can pretend its just like a mocha. Or maybe I am just a kid at heart.

OTOH I probably wouldn’t order a glass at a restaurant.

Chocolate milk is an excellent recovery food after a workout.

No.

We went to a diner with the kids yesterday and got them chocolate milk, and it looked so good I asked my daughter if I could have some of hers. She let me.

I’ve bought a 1/2 pint of chocolate milk at the grocery store to drink in the car, but I’d probably be too embarassed to order it in a restaurant.

I don’t find that funny at all. Why do you care what other people drink?

no, as pres. obama would say “it is a tasty drink”.

i’ve ordered milk and chocolate milk depending on the entree.

Some of the chocolate soy milk products are really good too. Give them a try sometimes.

I also want to clarify I like the drink, but wouldn’t think of ordering it when going out.

Funny how (cold) chocolate milk is considered for kids only, but no one would blink if the guy had ordered (hot) cocoa.

Also delicious but not appropriate when you’re eating out, IMO.

Not as silly as concerning yourself over what someone other than you or your dependents orders at a restaurant.

At breakfast? Some of us don’t like coffee or tea.

A good friend of mine, a grown man, does not like coffee.
We travel together sometimes, and very often when we go out for breakfast I order coffee and he orders chocolate milk. I never thought twice about it. Whatever floats your boat, I say.

Besides, it is yummy.

Just having some Monday morning fun on some anonymous guy’s expense. It’s not like I called the foodie police on him.

My grandpa’s never been much of a milk drinker. He had a problem a few years ago with low calcium, and we talked about drinking milk while he was in the hospital. I asked him if he ever tried chocolate milk and he said no. So I went down to the cafeteria and got him some chocolate milk. Being that he’s a big fan of sweets, the old man loved it!

I think he might order it in a restaurant from time to time, just to get his milk in.

He gets cool points because he ordered what he wanted and didn’t care what you or anyone else thought about it.

The Cream Police?

They’ll be here soon enough.

Seeing as Vico and hot dogs is comfort food where I’m from, no. I’d order chocolate milk at a restaurant, but it never counts for free refills.

They live inside of my head.
