I think being disqualified from the Celebrity Death Pool was enough. Last I checked, declaring a fatwa wasn't a banning offence.

Satan was never a moderator here, except possibly in his own head. IIRC, the last straw was when he presumed a thread was going to be moved to the pit anyway, and started following Pit rules instead of rest-of-the-board rules. You might be getting confused because he was a moderator on Opal's board, or you might be thinking of Melin, an early moderator who ended up banned.
