ATTN: My German Doper Friends (Americans Too!)
I'd like to buy a pair of used Lederhosen size 38 waist in USA sizes. Doesn't matter about color as long as they're authentic. They are very expensive new and also on ebay the used ones run over $100.00 bucks. Please let me know what you can find and the price (if you have the time).
We're going to have an Oktoberfest party at our house and all I have right now is an apron that has lederhosen printed on it, and I'd like to look as authentic as I can. Already have the socks and Trachten shirt as well as the hat. Thanks for any help Quasi

I am stationed in Germany. I am not sure about getting used ones I have not ever seen them in shops used only new. If you can find them for 100 you are getting a deal. Locally a decent pair will run you 250€ and up based on quality. I am going to work in an hour or so I will ask the German's I work with if they know were to get a used pair.

It's OK, Quasi, I still love you anyway, even if you don't look like Bruno.

Quasi I just spoke with some of the guys I work with and they said that Lederhosen are not a very popular resale item in this area. They also said that $100 for a pair was a good buy if they are traditional. I am sorry I could not help you more.

Aw, that's okay, TDF, I've got family at home looking for a pair too. Just exploring all avenues.
I really appreciate your efforts! Thanks Q
