If you could pick a scent that would cause people to remind them of you, what would it be? Also, what scents remind you of people you’ve known?
I think my scent would be anise.
Whenever I smell cinnamon it reminds me of a neighbor I grew up next to that made the best cinnamon rolls in the world.
I want to smell like intolerant, simmering, will burst out at any moment hulk like rage. This way I can go through life being exposed to only a minimal amount of bullshit
And what exactly does “intolerant, simmering, will burst out at any moment hulk like rage” smell like? Help me out here.
Ha ha! I love the smell of rage.
I would like my trademark scent to be cinnamon or bourbon.
The smell of a high-performance boat after a good run. Something along the lines of leather, motor oil, lingering exhaust and tanning lotion washed over with salt air sea breezes.
Oooh, bourbon. Good one, MOL.
Mine would be vanilla. Or perhaps red wine. El Hubbo’s would be scotch.
Orange zest.
Strangely, some people do claim to think of me when they smell bourbon. :dubious:
Hard to describe, but it smells wonderful.
Jessica McClintock perfume. Citrusy and fresh. Clean. Feminine.
Something along the lines of freshly planed pine and cedar boards.
I don’t know. I just know I want it. And I suspect you’ll know it when you smell it. My current signature scent is nutra rat light beer with a touch of garlic and hotsauce.
Piñon, sage and juniper with a hint of ponderosa.
I like you.
Pretty much this. Something that smells like my woodshop.
Smells can be such strong memory triggers. I used to work with a girl who smelled like patchouli oil every day. We used to flirt a bit, and I contemplated taking it to the next level, but frankly her patchouli smell was so strong it sort of turned me off. Now the smell has a bad connotation for me.
On the other hand, I was once picked up by a girl while waiting in line to get into a bar, and she smelled like Obsession by Calvin Kline. It wasn’t overpowering though, so we hooked up that night and became FWB. Every time we got together she smelled like Obsession. So whenever I smell that, I think of college, beer and freaky monkey love.
Warm cotton, sage, and a little musk.
Sandalwood makes me think of my sister. I don’t like her, but I still like the smell.
The smell of (what was)dry earth after it rains
I don’t think weird and inapproriate has a scent.
I don’t know TriPolar…Moldy cheese comes to mind. :0)
The smell of a roasted chicken and newly-baked bread, both fresh out of the oven.
