Seems like this is simply telling you the world population on the day you were born, but saying it in a rather cockeyed way.
When it says, “Where do you fit into 7 billion? Enter your date of birth to find out” that implies a ranking of some sort, based on your date of birth, among the 7 billion currently living.
I expected something more along the lines of how many people now living had been born before or after me, which I would have found interesting, rather than simply reminding me that when I was born, there were ~2.7 billion other people in the world, which I already knew.
It does tell you that. I’m the 76,918,416,246th person to have lived since history began.
