You know what tastes best?

Free hot cookies at hotels, while you’re on the road.

They taste better when the plane for the last leg to your vacation destination has been canceled and you are stuck in, gag, gasp, New Jersey overnight and the next plane to Newfoundland isn’t for 24 hours and there you are WASTING your precious vacation time in a crummy little hotel in NEW JERSEY. And all you’ve got in the plus column is that hot free cookie, and you are holding onto that for dear life to keep from crying your eyes out.

I thought it was the full English breakfast that British Airways gives you when you’re finally flying home from Moscow after being sick as a dog there for a week.

I thought it was crushing your enemies, seeing them driven before you, and hearing the lamentation of their women.

That does taste really good.

Yes, I do know, but if I tell you, there will be a run on it, and the price will go up.

Its a toss-up between escargot and sushi.

A cup of hot joe and a slice of crispy bacon after an all-night kegger around the indoor frat-house pool?

In general, the best tasting foods are those prepared, served, and cleaned up by someone else.

But, yeah, warm hotel cookies are pretty high on the list.

One of the greatest achievements in the history of flight was when Midwest Airlines baked and served chocolate chip cookies in-flight. Discontinued after a corporate takeover.

Ooh, cutting edge humor making fun of New Jersey. That never gets old.

That Hampton Inn in Marion, Illinois gives free cold beer with their free hot cookies!

Shouldn’t you be at your alma mater getting that giant hole in your fraterinty floor fixed?

Bacon with maple syrup on it.

jaw drops I want to go to there.

That was the first thing I thought of when I read the title.

An ice cold Coke with real cane sugar after drinking nothing but lukewarm water for a solid week.

I’ve heard it’s revenge.

Served cold.

An ice cold coke with real cane sugar is damn good anytime.

(I only have 1 a week, but it’s damn good every time!)

For me…drinking GOOD cold water with GOOD ice cubes after visiting family in Florida, where even filtered water tastes very different (and not as good as) Boston’s tap water.
